Such a smart, pretty boy and a quick learner,” Frank said.

Acutely aware of the smooth, tanned skin of his shoulders and back, mere inches from him, and the sinewy muscles of his forearm stretched out to the wall, Frank sucked in a quiet breath. To heighten the tension, Frank put his hand on his back and snapped the elastic band of his briefs. “You know what they do to little boys in prison?”

Rand shivered, whether from the threat of prison or the stranger behind him,

Frank didn’t know. “Sir, if someone told you I had drugs, they lied. I swear I don’t.”

Frank rolled the boxers from his hips and left them hugging his knees. Kick ’em off. Now!”

Rand has insecurities about Frank's true feelings for him. When he turns the tables on Frank, Frank gets a little taste of his own medicine, until he's in charge again. Round two for Frank and Rand comes alive in Crossroads Revisited with Rand having moved in with Frank and enrolled back in school. All is not well in the house as Frank’s rules and being so demanding are starting to weigh on Rand, not to mention there is yet another killer out there. This one is targeting gay college students for revenge.

This time Rand, who I have grown to love with his wit and sarcasm, really shines for me while he works his way ever so slowly deeper into Frank's heart. No time to sit and contemplate their feelings Rand has been kidnapped by a man who's own loss has catapulted him into a serial killer. Only in his own mind he is exacting revenge to gay medical students blaming them for his son's death. Will Frank finally realize what he has with Rand and how special he is to him? Crossroads Revisited – 8 out of 10 stars!

M/M romantic Suspense

Review: This is the second story in the Crossroads series. After reading the first one, I was pleasantly surprised to see this story delved deeper into the sizzling romance between Rand and Frank. Their relationship is volatile and complicated and Ms. Diablo does a wonderful job of making her readers sympathize with each of them in a very unique way.

Ms. Diablo also brilliantly weaves erotic sex and developing emotion with a twisting and turning romantic suspense. As a reader I wasn’t surprised at where the story was heading, but that didn’t make the ride any less exhilarating. Like a thrilling high-speed roller coaster, I knew the drop off was coming but my heart still raced, my blood pounded, but in the case of Rand and Frank, I was also a turned on mess. Oh those kinky boys—I love them! I can only hope Ms. Diablo will titillate us with another chapter in this not-so-charming, but damn loveable couple. – Seriously Reviewed

Crossroads Revisited – 4.5 Stars

This book by Keta Diablo is really good. It is listed as paranormal, but I have recommended it to friends who don't care for 'things that go bump in the night'.

Tall, dark, and ruggedly handsome, Frank McGuire is a private investigator who sees vague images in his dreams and when he meditates. Despite others trying to label him, he firmly refuses to be known as 'psychic'.

The plot is strongly crafted and well written. The tension builds steadily throughout the story. This reader really liked that not everything is perfectly answered ~ just the important things. Although this is technically a sequel, this story completely stands on its own. I thoroughly enjoyed this and think you will too! Rainbow Reviews

This book is a must have! If you read Crossroads and loved it as much as I did then you need to get your hands on a copy of Crossroads Revisited now! It is just as good and even better than the first. In this novel you will see Frank and Rand's budding relationship start to bloom , although Frank still has a lot of emotional baggage getting in the way of his relationship with Rand. There is suspense in this novel that will keep you guessing. Even though you think you found the real killer, in the end you get a big surprise. I really fell in love with both Frank and Rand in this novel.

Crossroads: Revisited is the sequel to Crossroads. Keta Diablo’s new story takes us back into the lives of Rand and Frank. Rand knows he’s in love with the tough P.I. and just wants Frank to reciprocate. Frank isn’t one to express his love with words, but in his own way, he does attempt to convey his feelings. I could understand Rand’s frustrations, and found myself screaming at Frank to say the words. The story has more than a few erotic scenes that fluctuate between low to moderate doses of BDSM. The plot and subplot both kept my interest, while the conflict Frank and Rand deal with is internal; it reminds me of just how much adjusting new couples have to endure. I found the story entertaining and recommend it to those who enjoy the genre. Literary Nymphs

Keta Diablo’s Crossroads: Shadowland was an incredible story. Rand and Frank are so well developed that they feel like old friends. The plot leaves you with the chills as you experience true evil and, then, relief when good intervenes. Hot passion and spine-tingling danger combine with the gratification and sorrow of the ending to produce a tale that will continue to haunt you even after you are done reading. We can only urge Keta Diablo to finish Book Four so we can see what happens next.

There is a theme in my tag list that I’m not using often, but indeed it’s very popular, the “pirates”; pirates, like sheiks, cowboys and similar dream lovers were very popular among the women who knew about the world only through the books; pirates were of course always men with a noble soul (if not a noble birth) and the perfect lover for a damsel in distress. Of course when we have two men, the balance has to change a bit, but in The Devil’s Heel the change is minimal: Rogan Brockport, nobleman and pirate on the side, is an handsome rogue and he has a quest, to conquer again Drew Hibbard, former lover who dumped him to marry a woman. And also this is not an uncommon situation, in a story that is set at the beginning of the XVIII century, it’s even a common trend.

But Drew is not exactly your typical gay romance hero who surrenders to the society laws (and not only society…): Drew’s betrayal is a reaction to an act of the same nature, he is in love with Rogan, so much that for him is impossible to share. The first impression you have of Drew, from Rogan's point of view, is of an extremely handsome man with a mourning soul; I had the feeling he was also strong, and that Roger had a contendent of his same strength in him; I was building a story around a battle of wills with the winner who was uncertain. But when the reader has the chance to “meet” Drew, you realize that he is a completely different man from Rogan; he is very emotional, easy to take abrupt decision, not always right decision, and more or less a man that tends to be led by other men around him. If you add to this the fact that the sexual relationship with Rogan is a mix of rough and dominant behavior, it’s not surprise that this novella can easily be classify also a breeches ripper, and in this case you have also all the right to do that, since the breeches ripping actually takes place.

One strong point of the story is that, despite being only a novella, it ranges widely, from ballrooms to ships, from bedrooms to cabins, and it introduces also some nice supporting characters. It’s probably a story that is more suitable to the romance lovers than the real historical fiction readers, but as I said at the beginning, the pirate lover is one of the most common in the romance imaginery.

Keta: What do you think makes a good story?

[S.L.] Characters. I fully believe it is the characters that make a story. If you have characters who are one-dimensional and bland, no one will want to read the story. But, a story with amazing characters that suck you in, make you feel for and with them, small flaws in pacing and plot can be excused. It’s through characters that we as readers connect with a story, and so writing solid, deep, and varied characters in a story is what I think makes a story successful.

[K.] I fully agree with S.L. It’s the characters that will make or break a story. Even with a lovely, intricate plot, if I don’t care about the characters, the story will inevitably fall flat. Another thing I think makes a story is the world building. When an author manages to have both great characters and a vivid world, I feel I’ve struck the proverbial jackpot. I love being swept away into an intriguing, well-developed world, be it fantasy, post-apocalyptic, or dystopian.

Keta: What does your significant other and family think of your writing career?

[S.L.] My husband and boyfriend both support me 100%. My husband actually winds up helping with the plotting and pacing of every novel I write, while my boyfriend is mainly a sideline cheerleader. My husband will also do the first proofreading and feedback of everything I write, and he helps K. and me develop our storylines when we find ourselves stuck or painted into a corner. My family supports me, but due to the sexual nature of my books, they aren’t comfortable reading the material I write (though my mum has promised to read any M/F novels I wind up writing).

[K.] I don’t currently have a significant other to share my work with. My family is also supportive, but, much like S.L.’s, most of them aren’t comfortable reading erotic material. My sister will read any F/F novels I end up writing, since that’s her preference. Oddly enough, it’s my grandmother who has promised to read everything I publish! She’s a wonderfully open-minded lady I love to bits.

Keta: Plotter or Pantser? Why?

[S.L.] Plotter all the way, baby. :) I’ve tried writing on the fly and find that stories written that way tend to suffer from dragging or wayward, dead-end plot pieces. I also think stories written without thorough outlining take longer to write. When we plot out a book from beginning to end, K. and I can write upwards of 5,000 words a day. Plotting is also crucial to ensuring all plot points are addressed and, in the case of a multi-book series, that all over-reaching plot arcs have been wrapped up. We also tend to plot backwards, beginning with the end of the book.

[K.] Oh, Lord, if I try to write by the seat of my pants I end up nowhere at all! While S.L. and I will explore options via instant messenger, going back and forth between characters for fun, when we write the actual stories, we always have an outline. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Keta: What is the hardest part of writing your books?

[S.L.] Knowing when to stop. It’s easy to want to keep telling the story when you’re incredibly invested in the lives of the characters you’ve created, but all stories have to end. I find it difficult to let go sometimes and allow the book to end.

[K.] I’m the opposite, actually. The hardest part for me is knowing how to begin. It usually takes me a bit of time to develop a character and get their voice in my head clearly enough to write from their perspective. Once the character sticks, though, they’re there to stay. It’s that first step that’s most difficult for me.

Keta: Tell us about your current release.

[S.L.] Our current release is “Cast the Cards”, an anthology we’re both in, along with four other authors. We each have a short story inside based on one of the Major Arcana. I chose The Moon as my card, and the story is called “Oneiros”. It’s about a young man named Caleb who has to come to terms with the fact he is HIV-positive and what that means for him. He copes with it in a fantastical way, and he has to learn whether living and loving is more important than just giving up.

[K.] My story in “Cast the Cards” is called “Surrender”. It was based on The Tower card, which is all about a sudden event shaking the foundations of a person. Aaron is a professional man who is always in control of his life, right down to being a Dom and controlling scenes with his submissives. It’s at a fetish party that he finds himself questioning all he’d assumed to be true about himself.

Keta: Tell us about your next release.

[S.L.] Our next release is called “Rachmaninoff”, and it’s our first full-length novel. It will be available as an e-book and in print. It’s a traditional vampire story filled with all the tropes that go along with such a thing. When we wrote it, we set out to tell the gothic romance of vampire and mortal without doing anything overly original with the vampire concept. We have our own little twists here and there, but for the most part, “Rachmaninoff” is completely recognizable and comforting as a classic vampire tale.

[K.] Aric is a tempestuous piano prodigy who is brought to the reclusive Lord Nikola in Novi Sad, Serbia, for a year of extensive study. Though nineteen years old, Aric feels trapped by the expectations of his family and grudgingly accepts Nikola as his tutor. It isn’t long before Aric learns Nikola’s secrets, and a romance develops despite several clashes between their disparate personalities. In “Rachmaninoff”, we explore the challenges of reconciling the past with the present, age with youth, life with death, and the introvert with the extrovert as Aric comes of age and takes his life into his own hands. And when you want the easy solution because the characters have been through so much getting together, that is the moment when the story becomes special because an easy ending wouldn’t have left my heart open and bleeding for Grey and Marx. I felt the longing, the desperation, and the bitter acceptance that the world was changing and so had they. The historical flavor of the story was detailed and descriptive. A turbulent time and Keta painted a picture that had my heart breaking.

The sex was passionate and at times desperate. It all came together perfectly making this one of my favorite stories from Keta Diablo. A must read for lovers of gay historical romance with substance, high risk tension, suspense and heart pounding sex.

These books get better and better as Frank and Rand evolve and change. Frank is being forced by Rand to acknowledge his feelings or risk losing him. The plot is suspenseful and keeps you guessing. Keta Diablo is one talented author.There is another serial killer stalking the streets of Baltimore. This time, the killer is going for gay college students. When Frank is called in to help, he knows he must but he has more than enough problems to handle without this. Rand is not quite on track with his studies and Frank’s past has come back to haunt him. Frank is determined to protect Rand from the danger returning from his past and from the serial killer. When Rand becomes the next victim, Frank knows he must step up or lose the man who has the key to his heart.

Heat blasts off the pages of Crossroads: Revisited. Rand and Frank have no problem producing that heat through their games and play at home and outside the home as needed. The plot was suspenseful and tense, keeping us on the edge of our seats. The danger of the killer and Frank’s past are very real and Frank’s reaction is to protect Rand not matter the cost to him and Rand personally. Frank has a hard time with his emotions and his feelings for Rand. Rand on the other hand knows how he feels and needs Frank to acknowledge those feelings. It has been intriguing to watch how Frank and Rand have changed and grown since the first book, making Crossroads: Revisited an intriguing book to relish and devour.

Frank McGuire is approached for help in finding a serial killer. Undecided as to how to help, Frank is also approached by the widow of his partner when he was on the force. Her son, Rand, has disappeared and she is desperate to locate him. Emily, the widow of Quinn, his partner, is sure that Rand is in trouble and must be found before he is in too deep. She knows Rand is confused about his identity and is trying to find himself. He dropped out of college and took to the streets where he can get what he wants. Frank does find Rand but realizes something Rand does not. Rand is right in the middle of the murders and for Frank to save him, he must deal with the killers and his own suppressed desire for Rand.

Crossroads is a very intense story. Tough language and situations make the reading difficult at times. Franks had left the force after the death of his mentor and partner. Now with the disappearance of his mentor’s son, Frank must deal with the issues he never resolved. For Rand, he just wants to escape. He too never dealt with his own issues and now the two will need to resolve them together if they are to survive the coming danger. Keta Diablo has penned a story not for the faint at heart.

I love reading historical romances set during the Civil War and this novella, Long, Hard Ride, hit the spot when I was looking for a good Male/Male novel to read.

I didn’t expect anything less than a good read from one my favorite authors. Keta Diablo has yet again delivered a steamy, hot Male/Male story that had me wanting more. My Review: {This book is for adult readers due to male/male sexually detailed situations} --With the passing of his grandmother, Kale {a Vampire} finds all he has left is her home, the items within it and and a letter left for him by her at the nursing home. Is his destiny really in Savannah, GA -- as his grandma tells him after her death?

Knowing she'd never lead him wrong, he arrived in Savannah, only to run into the man in his dreams. Literally and in more ways than one. He'd spent many nights dreaming of this man while he slept. How was it that he really existed?

Was Savannah his destiny or his funeral? He seemed to find his guardian angel there, but also seemed to meet those who wanted him dead.

This was a great short story. When I was finished, I wanted to know more. More of Kale's Grandma, more of his parents, more of their rogue Vampires and how Sev came to watch over Kale. I will definitely be looking for more Keta Diablo.

Keta: Please tell us about your current release:

The TroubleMaker is the story of a kid who grew up, as so many did during the 1970's and 1980's as part of the first generation of kids in history in which there were more broken homes and blended families than not. The support structures of many families had broken down when at the end of the 1960's these kids' parents largely disavowed their parents. When these young people, mainly mothers found themselves single parents, many were left with no support system at all and they were forced to find a way to cope in a world that had gone haywire. The story's protagonist, Tyler is an angry kid who suffers all sorts of abuse at the hands of adults who never have to pay the consequences of the actions...and that only serves to add to Tyler's angry. On top of that, Tyler is harboring a secret. He's transsexual...something that statistically has no relationship to the abuse Tyler suffered despite the stereotypes of modern culture. The story is found in the journey Tyler takes from brokenness to wholeness on an emotional, and on a physical level. Tyler's life echoes the lives of countless millions and it is my hope that as Tyler finds strength and healing on her journey to becoming Renee that so too might others who have endured some of the same sorts of challenges in life.

Keta: Has someone helped or mentored you in your writing career?

Probably the greatest influence on my writing career came to me from a lady I never met, an agent named Toni Lopopolo who turned me down as a client after I wrote my first manuscript. Back then, I had just finished 4 gruelling months of chronicling the story of a serial killer that I thought was the next Hannibal Lechter. I finished the first and only draft of my “masterpiece” and sent it off to Toni, sure that I was on the cusp of being handed the keys to the kingdom, ushered into a world of fame, fortune and acclaim.

Toni took pity on me and sent me an e-mail with a reading list... told me that I should go learn my craft and then re-write my book. At first, as you might imagine, I was floored. Likely I came off like one of Simon's rejects in the nationwide audition rounds from “American Idol”. The woman clearly wouldn't know talent if it tapdanced across her nose while playing Jimi Hendrix's star spangled banner on a tuba while chewing a mouthful of saltines.

Nevertheless, despite my outrage I took her advice and ordered the books she suggested. Then, I found more books on fiction craft and kept reading. I read until the books said the same things. Then I picked up my “masterpiece” and read it again. It was then that I saw it. I had done my very best work and the result was a gigantic heaping pile of dung! It was then that I resolved myself to the craft of writing fiction. Five years later I read from my “Bibles” of fiction craft every day of the week to keep myself fresh, whether I write on a given day or not. Wherever you are Ms. Lopopolo, I thank you!

Keta: What does your significant other and family think of your writing career?

My wife is my biggest fan and she's the one who puts me back together when I fall apart. She acts as my support system when I begin to doubt myself and she's the one who takes me down to size when I begin to think too much of myself. Without her, there is no Sevastian Winters. The kids don't get what I do yet, but I find myself often worried that they will grow up and regard me as an absentee parent.... so I force myself out of my shell as often as I can remember to make sure they know I love them. Sometimes, it's enough just to cuddle through a television show.

Keta: What do you think makes a good story?

Good stories are made of of great characters. What happens in a story is superfluous to the characters. Like real people, characters in stories never act outside of their true beliefs. They, like we, sometimes act outside of what they hope to believe, what they think they believe, what they say they believe, and what they are “supposed” to believe, but never outside of what they actually believe. This gives us the opportunity to dig deep into the truths of humanity. Great stories are human stories... the ones that tell us something about ourselves.

Keta: As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I spent most of my life wanting to be President of the United States. Along the way though, I came to the conclusion that while I still believe I could do the job well, I am not a "people person". I'm not the sort that likes to press the flesh or to kiss people's babies. I'm a pretty no nonsense, take no prisoners, scorched earth sort of leader that gets a lot done but leaves a lot of corpses and careers in my wake. I wouldn't have time to talk about "kicking asses" as the President said this week, because I'd have already kicked them. I'd be a strong autocratic leader that got a lot done in unorthodox ways, but in the end, I think it would take decades for history to prove my effectiveness and in the end I'm just better at getting the job done than I am at playing politics. Politicians have to be diplomats. I'm not diplomatic in the slightest. I'm more of a tactician. Likely I'd be a good chief of staff, but I don't know that I could stand to play 2nd fiddle.... so I'm hoping to leave my mark on the world with my words instead.

Fiction writing as a profession is unlike anything they will teach you in a creative writing class or an English class. It is a unique craft. If you were a sculptor, you would have to learn to use the chisel in such a way as to reveal the art, leaving no evidence of the chisel behind. The essence of fiction craft is to create the art in such a way that the writing and the writer disappear, giving a full bodied view of the story and the art.

Keta: If you could apologize to someone in your past, who would it be?

I have apologized to her as often as possible, and yet I don't think it could ever be enough. Though there are lots of people to whom I owe apologies in my life, no one is more deserving of my apologies as my first wife Jennifer. I was overjoyed to learn over the past year that she did eventually remarry and has become a mother and I wish her all of the success and happiness the world has to offer. The transgressions of a man's youth are often revisited upon him for a lifetime, and from the bottom of my soul, I hope that someday she will know the sincerity and depth of my apologies.

Frank’s latest case means traveling to the Big Easy and in turn, bringing Rand into the fold as a part of the PI business. Rescuing two young boys from an angry ghost is making Frank uneasy. He’s never come across such a strong paranormal force and doesn’t want Rand caught in the crossfire. However, Rand is tired of Frank’s overprotective nature and it leads to events that could change their lives forever.

Crossroads: Shadowland is the fourth story of the Crossroads series. Keta Diablo’s characters are evolving with each new tale. Frank is allowing more of his emotions to surface. While I know he’s not comfortable with expressing his love, his protectiveness and willingness to give Rand what he needs says a great deal about the big man. Rand is still young, as you could tell with some of his reactions to Frank’s protectiveness, but he is starting to come into his own. I believe when Frank starts to see him as a mature adult he will loosen the reins some, but will still try to protect the man he loves.

Traveling to New Orleans for this story was a nice change of setting. I loved the secondary characters, and the plot of Crossroads: Shadowland. I have no doubt there is more to come just from the ending of this tale, but the question that I was left with is will Rand and Frank stay together? I’m anxiously awaiting the next installment to get that answer and to see if the events have left Frank more protective or if he will see the error of his ways.

Keta Diablo has done a fine thing here. This isn't exactly a lawyer novel, since the trial is in the background and the lust story between Milan and Hugh is at center stage. Still, the creepy client about to get off on a technicality, courtesy of Milan and Hugh's dedicated work, gives the book just enough of a thriller edge. Not that the erotic content doesn't keep the pages flipping. When the object of desire is as delectable as Milan, the pages will practically turn themselves.

However, this one went a lot deeper into the “believable” paranormal, if you believe in the ghosts stories, psychic connections and the power of the metaphysical world. Two boys go missing in a cemetery and Frank is once again pulled into the fray. The plot is so engrossing, I forgot I was reading and simply existed within the pages, watching the suspenseful thriller unravel. Keta made me believe for the moments I was with Frank. I don’t want to spoil the ending, but once again Diablo makes the risks high and the conclusion isn’t predictable.

Keta Diablo writes gritty, emotional characters. Frank and Rand aren’t on a sweet journey into love but one that leaves you a bit breathless and a bit abused. The sex is titillating and powerful. Their connection is palpable. I love how in each story, Keta has upped the stakes for these two memorable men. I would recommend reading the books in order because their relationship is layered, becoming more intense and more poignant with each installment of the Crossroads series.

Four Stars! From Bitten by Books (snippet of review)

The characters were very intense and their devotion to each other despite the differences between not only their classes but also the difference in their races as the sin eater and the long tooth grow in their sexual relationship together. Another great addition to the Crossroads series. Keta tends to dish it out on a platter, serving it up to give you just a taste with an unexpected twist and leaves you dangling with want for the main course and you haven't even hit on the dessert yet. In this one Frank heads back to New Orleans with Rand to crack the case of two boys gone missing at a local cemetery, only to discover there's more to this that meets the naked eye. The whole ghost story is freakish, keeps you captivated with the added touch of a nun into the mix and keeps your reading mojo going throughout the story. But as it goes with Frank and Rand and it always does, what will transpire in this book will get your temperature soaring to unhealthy levels and I'm not just talking about the steaming sex scenes.

This is all you’re getting on the book outta me. You'll just have to go read it yourself. :snickering: Now...I think I need to go bang down Keta's door for the next installment of Crossroads before I chew my bottom lip off!

Review:
Why do I get so excited when I see that Ms. Diablo has a new book available? Maybe it’s because I just know her characters are going to grab me into their world and take me on an adventure, one that I won’t want to end. On the other hand, maybe it’s because I know that at least one of her characters is so very Alpha with real feelings. Whatever the reason is, I was thrilled when given the chance to meet Rogan and Drew.

At the start of The Devil’s Heel I met Rogan, (I love this name) at a ball of some sort, and I learned that his obsession was a man named Drew, who recently lost his wife to a band of nasty pirates. Rogan and Drew have a past, which spans back five years before the time I met them at the party.

There’s a lot of hurt in both men, however, neither knows what the other is hurting over until later in the story and that is just one element that kept me glued to this lovely little piece in one sitting. Rogan is beyond angry with Drew for marrying a woman. He visualizes the man he loved having sex with her and he let that anger eat at him for five long years. I mean, imagine this. One day you’re happily in love with the person of your dreams, the next you’re not admitted into said person’s home, and out of his/her life for good. In this case, Rogan being kept away from Drew and he had no clear idea why. Next thing he knows, Drew’s married to a woman. That must have done a number on poor Rogan.

Rogan is assigned the job to protect Drew and in order to accomplish this, he must join the band of pirates that raped and killed Drew’s wife. But before he does this, he sneaks into Drew’s room and…Not telling you what happens there, you’ll have to read it and see the heat between these two men. No matter how hurt Rogan and Drew are, the passion between them is hotter than hell. It is in this scene that Rogan begins to question why Drew went and married. If Drew had answered then, I think the book would have ended and I’m so glad he didn’t.

Before I knew it, Rogan joins that band of rotten pirates and ends up kidnapping Drew. I felt sorry for them both for different reasons. Drew has every right to be angry, or so he thinks and Every time these two managed to be in the same room, the pages did indeed heat up.

The characters very well drawn out, the story, well told, and I loved my time with them on the ship and on the open pirate infested waters and loads of D/s sex scenes. I love a happy ending and this story did not disappoint.

This story packs a lot of punch in a short period of time and I felt every blow! I loved Hugh, a conflicted, intelligent and very sexual man. Add yummy Milan, his paralegal, who thinks Hugh is his dream come true and every fantasy they’ve had for each other for several long months working together come graphically to life. My only disappointment, as cliché as it might be, is I wished this story was longer. I would have loved to see even more relationship develop between Hugh and Milan, especially with regards to their pasts. Having said that however, I’ve been fortunate enough to read several fantastic M/M stories lately and this ranks right at the top with the best of them. I highly recommend Hot & Sticky, it won’t disappoint any reader who enjoys this genre!

Wow! This was my first book by Keta Diablo and certainly will not be my last. She’s stolen my M/M virginity and I couldn’t be happier it happened with Hot and Sticky.

My expectations for character development were not high since this short is only 10,000 words long. Do not be deceived by the length! Hugh and Milan were brilliantly developed. The blend of narration, dialogue and action flowed smoothly. Keta Diablo made her characters come to life for me.

Hugh is flawed and balances many responsibilities in his career. His intense attraction to his paralegal doesn’t help. When he discovers that Milan feels the same way about him, sparks fly. The sex scenes were smokin’ hot!

I want more from Keta Diablo. Her writing voice is unique and captivating. She allowed me to become a part of her characters’ lives. I journeyed with them through their initial attraction, budding relationship, and savored the satisfying conclusion. If you are a faithful M/M romance reader, or curious to indulge for the first time, you must pick up Hot and Sticky the moment it’s released. Loved it!
